About ISPA Indian Society for Particle Accelerators (ISPA) was formed in the year 2003 at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, during the first Indian Particle Accelerator Conference (InPAC). Originally it was named as Particle Accelerators society of India (PASI). In the year 2013, society was renamed as ISPA and was registered as national society with head quarter at Inter University Accelerator Center (IUAC), New Delhi. The aims and objectives of the ISPA are - (a) To promote advancement of accelerator science, technology and its applications. (b) To promote active interaction among all persons, bodies, institutions (private / state owned, national or international) specifically interested in Accelerators and related areas. (c) To organize seminars, symposia, workshops, lectures, debates, training courses, conferences, film shows etc. pertaining to Accelerators and their applications. (d) To recognize achievements and contributions of individuals in the field of accelerators and their applications. (e) To organize regional and/or special interest chapters in the country as and when needed. |
